I haven't joined this one merely because I am Canadian and we have our own to assist.
Not, by any means, knocking the effort as it shows the true spirit that is needed for those that serve the people of the world, but as they are doing, take care of your own first.
I applaud the movement but would like to see one for Canadians as well.
Another GREAT one to support is www.anysoldier.com. It was started by the mother of a soldier. She always sent him care packages and he commented there were some soldiers who never received anything from home. So, they started sending packages to "any soldier."
I lived for my care packages when I was stationed over-seas. I could not image going through that without my family's support.
