I'm rarely speechless...

...but I drove by this today.

I love Halloween, too - but holy crap.

  2. HAHAHAHAHA! You think that's bad, come here for the annual Tacky Lights Tour at Christmas. People rent buses and limos to take in the sights, the newspaper publishes lists of 50 or 60 houses that meet certain criteria like number of lights used, a theme...it's unbelievable!

    Peace <3

  6. Kinda makes you wonder what the *inside* of their house looks like, if there is that much on the outside.

  7. Every year dude, every year. I think they start they start building it in June. I get to drive by their creations twice a day. And at night the lights are fantastic-ish.

  8. The worst part is that, in my experience, these houses tend to give out the suckiest treats - I guess they spend all their cash on the decorations and forget the real reason for the season!

  10. I love it! We've got a 20 foot gorilla on my street; like the kind you see atop car dealerships. Fantastic

  11. I wonder if it's an obstacle course to get to the front door. If you make it, you get a homemade popcorn ball that you can't eat for fear of razor blades.

  12. I always think about what a pain in the ass it will be to take it all down!

  16. We got some near us, that looks like if you changed out the orange lights for colors or all white, it would double as their Christmas decorations. Just change Franky into Santa, Hunchback becomes Rudolf......

  18. Hah! I live in Upstate NY too, Near Adirondack Park and this is a common sight for me. So totally over-done. I love Halloween, but the extent of my decorating is with a couple of carved pumpkins. I see entire houses/lawns utilized for decorations..
