Wrong turn.

I'm currently listening to the unabridged audio book of "Memoirs of a Geisha" and I decided to look up some terms to get a better understanding of their history.

Here's a little search tip for you all:

Although they may sound similar, Kabuki and Bukkake are two very, very different things.

I cannot stress that enough.

  6. thank God i didn't do an image search. my naive and scholarly genetic makeup led me straight to the online dictionary, which in turn sent me to Wikipedia.

"Bukkake can also mean a Japanese noodle preparation method (doused with dashi). For that meaning, refer noodles."

i've gotta learn not to read your blog at work.

  7. Yes, the noodle preparation is also common. Literal translation is "splashed with sauce" or some such..
