I almost bought 2 myself, but they were sold out. I'm a 30 year + fan of REO, but miss Gary Richrath terribly. It's still difficult for many fans, including myself not seeing Gary up there. I missed out working as loca...REO Speedwagon rocks! I missed out working as local crew WAAAAY back when they opened for the Doobie Brothers one night. But I did manage to weasel my way backstage thanks to fellow union members and meet them. The Doobies were holed up in their dressing rooms, but REO was out and about, and happy to talk, and shake hands. I have pics of the concert, but not of the backstage stuff...as a union guy, you didn't "do that" when you were backstage, so I just kept the camera under my jacket.<br /><br />Too bad the B&B didn't work out, and thanks for the heads up about ILAA! Funny about the "managed experience" instead of a back stage Meet & Greet. Have to laugh. 28 years in radio and that was always the sizzle for the listeners. To me, the best part is good seats in the venue with a band that is great. I met Pat Benatar about 15 years ago. My girlfriend was marrying Benatar's sound engineer. I sat with Benatar at the ceremony as we were the only two people in black. She was very nice. She performed during the reception and it rocked. <br /><br />I'd love to see the Woodstock Museum in Bethel.
